We have two themed open mics coming up, and we’d love to hear what you come up with so here are some prompts:

March 31st is “Newly Dead And Green Things.”
Write the first image that comes to your mind when you think of spring, and go where that image takes you.
Or, something is growing on your windowsill that you didn’t put there. Something not usually found on windowsills. It might even prove sentient.
Or, tell us what’s newly dead or suddenly green in your own world.

April 21st is “The Earth’s Revenge”
It’s Earth Day…and Mother Nature has had enough! Tell us what she does, and what it means for the rest of us.

The normal open mic limits will apply, but if you find yourself inspired to write something longer (most people find 20min puts them at 3k words or thereabouts) you can start us off and then read the rest at the following regular open mic.
