Funeral services will be held Thursday in New Jersey for Charles L. Grant, master of horror, who suffered a fatal heart attack on September 15th. He was 64.

Charles was a past-president and served on the Board of Trustees of HWA. He also served as an officer for the Science Fiction Writers of America and was a ten-year member of the Board of Directors for the World Fantasy Awards.

He was the recipient of two Nebula and three World Fantasy awards. Both the British Fantasy Society and the HWA honored Charles by presenting him with their respective Lifetime Achievement Awards.

Twilight Tales would like to extend our condolences to Kathryn Ptacek, Charles’s wife of nearly twenty-five years, and the rest of his family.
